The worm gear container agitator for 1000-liter IBCs is designed for powerful and controlled mixing of high-viscosity liquids in demanding industrial applications. This heavy-duty IBC agitator is suitable for liquids with viscosities of up to 20,000 mPas and a maximum density of 1.2 kg/l.

The agitator is driven by a 2.2 kW electric motor with a variable speed range from 0 to 300 rpm, allowing precise adjustment of the mixing process. The drive operates on 3-phase 400 V / 50 Hz (IE3).

The motor and worm gear unit, manufactured by Getriebebau NORD, feature the latest aluminum housing technology and ensure high efficiency, long service life, and reliable continuous operation.

A solid plug-in agitator shaft is mounted directly in the hollow shaft gear unit. The shaft is precisely balanced to ensure smooth, concentric operation across the entire speed range. All product-contact components are made of stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L).

At the end of the agitator shaft, a cup stirrer type IBC-BEC-600 (Ø 600 mm) is securely screwed in. The stirring arms can be removed without tools for fast and hygienic cleaning. There are no screws or threaded connections in the product area.

The agitator is designed to fit through standard Ø 140 mm IBC container openings, ensuring compatibility with common 1000 L IBC containers.

Speed control is handled by a compact NORD frequency inverter (IP55), preprogrammed specifically for agitator operation. A built-in potentiometer allows continuous speed adjustment from 0–300 rpm (0–50 Hz).

For safe handling and transport, the agitator is equipped with a stainless steel forklift traverse made of 1.4301 (AISI 304). The traverse includes two forklift openings, two tension hooks (not made of AISI 304 / AISI 316), and four side plastic handles.

A CEE plug switch mounted on the traverse features zero-voltage release and a phase inverter, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Important notice: The supply line requires an all-current-sensitive PRDC (RCD type B / B+).
